Somebody's production schedule is sitting in that trailer.

Parts freight is rarely just freight. It is a line that keeps running or stops, an order that ships or backs up, a customer waiting on a part that was promised for Tuesday.

We dispatch these loads around the delivery window first and everything else second. Border timing, hours of service and traffic patterns go into the plan before the truck is assigned, because on time-definite freight the plan is the whole job.

What we move

Parts freight for two very different clocks.

Production freight runs to a line schedule. Aftermarket freight runs to a customer promise. Both are deadlines.

Production parts

Components moving to assembly and supplier facilities where the delivery window is not negotiable.

Aftermarket parts

Distribution and dealer freight where a missed date turns into a call from the end customer.

Cross-border parts runs

Canada–US movements with customs documentation prepared ahead of the crossing.

How the load runs

How a time-definite load is planned.

Window confirmed

We start with the delivery time and confirm what happens if it slips, so everyone knows the stakes.

Route built

Hours of service, border timing and traffic are planned into the route before dispatch assigns the truck.

Documented

Paperwork, including customs documentation on cross-border runs, is completed and verified before departure.

Monitored

Dispatch tracks the run and calls you the moment something threatens the window.

Questions

Automotive freight questions.

Can you commit to a delivery window?

We commit to windows we can actually run. If a requested time is not realistic given the distance, hours of service and border timing, we say so at quoting rather than discovering it on the road.

How do you handle border delays on parts runs?

Documentation is prepared and verified before the truck leaves, so the crossing is a formality. Where border wait times are a known factor, they are built into the transit time we quote.

What counts as light automotive parts?

Palletized and packaged components rather than heavy machinery or oversize loads. If you are unsure whether your freight fits, describe it to dispatch and you will get a straight answer.

Will I get updates while the load is moving?

Yes. Dispatch tracks time-definite runs and contacts you about any risk to the window before it becomes a missed delivery.

Tell us the lane and the deadline. If we can hold it, we will say so — and if we cannot, we will say that too.
