Heavy, easily damaged, and unforgiving of a wet trailer.

Paper is one of those commodities where the difference between a good carrier and a bad one shows up the moment the doors open at the receiver.

Rolls shift. Cartons crush. A trailer that leaked somewhere on the route turns a full load into a claim. We check equipment before it is loaded, secure to the weight and shape of what is actually on the floor, and keep the load where it was put.

What we move

Paper in the forms it actually ships in.

From raw stock heading to a converter to finished product on its way to a distribution centre.

Rolls

Heavy rolls loaded and blocked so they do not walk in the trailer over a long run.

Cartons and cases

Boxed paper product stacked and braced to keep corners and edges intact through transit.

Converted paper

Finished and converted goods moved to warehouses, retailers and distribution points.

How the load runs

How a paper load runs with us.

Equipment check

The trailer is inspected for a dry, clean floor and a sound roof before it is spotted for loading.

Load plan

Weight is distributed for legal axles and the securement is matched to roll or skid dimensions.

Secured run

The load is braced so it stays put, and the driver checks securement at the stops along the route.

Clean delivery

Freight arrives on the appointment, in the condition it was loaded, with paperwork returned.

Questions

Paper freight questions.

How do you protect paper from moisture?

Trailers are inspected before loading for a dry floor and a sound roof and doors. Equipment that does not pass does not get loaded — checking in the yard costs an hour, a wet load costs a customer.

Can you handle roll stock as well as cartons?

Yes. Rolls need different securement from palletized cartons, and the load plan is built around what is actually being shipped rather than a standard pattern.

Do you deliver to mills and converters?

Yes, along with distribution centres and warehouses. Tell us the receiving requirements at booking so the arrival is planned around them.

Is paper freight available cross-border?

Yes. Paper loads move between Canada and the United States with the customs documentation prepared ahead of the crossing.
